    (3) What do you think you did well on in the project? What could you have done better? Please explain.
I think i did overall well and all aspects of this project but the most is on the final 2 hour. I could have organized myself better.
    (4) What is your EQ and what is the best answer to your EQ?
What is the best way to make a living in the paint ball industry? Being a business owner is my best answer.
    (5) How has the last month of culminating events (e.g I-Search, Two-Hour, Exit etc) affected your answer to your EQ? Has it changed? Why or why not?
It has affected my answer by backing up my answer that I had in the first place. It provided me evidence and backup behind my answer. It changed slightly because in the end I had to choose my last 3 answers so it helped me make that decision.
    (6) What suggestions do you have in order to improve the senior project?
Get rid of this schools "version" of the senior project. Its too overwhelming for high school.

    (b) I completed 85 hours and 45 minutes of service learning at my LASD Explorer Post 712 by training and practicing different tactics and scenario strategies.

    I
For my independent component I went to my LASD Explorer post to train for different strategies on how to either detain an opponent as well as tatics on how to eliminate a counter shooter. We would practice active shooter, how to clear a building and how to eliminate all targets effectively and safe without bringing harm upon yourself. I did this every Tuesday and Thursday for at least 3-4 hours each time for about 3 months.

    A
This independent study helped me with my tactics and strategies in a game whether I am playing myself of training a team on how to react to active shooter scenarios. These strategies can either be taught to people or utilized by myself. They teach you how to act under pressure of fire and advancing opponents and how to take them out before you, also how to handle a gun type weapon as well as how to aim.

    Visual or Performing Arts Project

    Monday, March 21, 2011
    Name: Chewy Ochoa
    Topic: Paintballing
EQ: What is the best way to make a living in the paintball industry?

    Ideas
    1. Make a modern art "painting" by shooting paintballs at a blank canvas using the paintball splats as art.
    2. Make a small scale paintball field.
    Relation
    1. This may express the possibility of art utilizing items from the paintball world such as a gun and some paintballs. Maybe a paintball artist or the art may be used for marketing paintball.
    2. Could be a paintball field designer for paintball parks so making a miniature paintball field will help.

    LIA Independent Task

    Monday, February 14, 2011
L- For my independent task I watched several different Paintball DVD's for a total of 31 hours.

I- This is important because I can watch actual footage of paintball games and how paintball players react in different situations. I cab also observe the strategies they use.

A- This helps answer my EQ because it lets me observe different strategies that professional paintball players use so that I may use them when I play which gives me room to improve my ability to play paintball. In some of the DVD's there was tutorial straight from the pros themselves.
